Event info:
An opportunity for both artists and industry professionals to gain valuable insights into when they should consider attending, or applying to play, music industry events. The panel will also cover how to make the most of the opportunities they offer, accessing financial support to showcase and what organisers consider when in selecting the acts they programme.
Following the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to socialise and to meet the speakers. DJ sets from Thomas Mackie and Hannah Macnamara (Regular Music) and Sarah Jones (Focus Wales).
NB - Ben Wynter (PRS Foundation) and Jamie Gilmour (Creative Scotland) will be hosting a pre-event briefing about funding for artists who are planning to play SXSW. This takes place from 1730-1900hrs. For details contact kitt@wideevents.co.uk
