Oli Furness

Oli worked as a professional touring musician from 2004 - 2011, mostly with 10-piece band Orkestra del Sol. The band played a real diverse array of gigs including festival stages, music venues, theatres and outdoor arts / street theatre festivals. They toured all over the UK and Europe, from street festivals in Spain to Exit festival in Serbia; they took a street show to China, collaborated with an Indian wedding band in Delhi and toured for a month in Australia.

Oli has worked as a tour manager, event producer, promoter and PR. She now works as a community music specialist and runs Oi Musica, which specialises in setting up and supporting street bands in communities all over Scotland.
