Our next Born To Be Wide is at The Electric Circus on March 6 and features a panel looking at how to build a network in the music industry. Taking part will be Ally McCrae [Radio 1], Sarah McMullan [The Pop Cop], Richy Muirhead [Scottish Alternative Music Awards] and musician Jamie Keir [Jamie & Shoony].

The discussion will focus at different approaches to making contacts, effective ways of communicating, where to find people to work with and how not to come across as a career-obsessed knob head only interested in collecting business cards.

Afterwards everyone will have a chance to put what they hear into practice, socialising to DJ sets courtesy of the panelists.
