Jennifer McGlone is owner/ manager of Glow Arts which she set up in 2006 initially as a booking agent for some of Scotland top Traditional musicians, the company quickly incorporated Jennifer's other freelance work which now includes project management, festival/ events production with Celtic Connections & Hands up For Trad, tour management, consultancy and arts education. Originally from Easterhouse in Glasgow, Jennifer has bee involved in the arts since 1995 through support of Easterhouse Arts Project and graduating with a BA in Community Arts from University of Strathclyde. Since graduating she has held a number of different roles from Traditional Music Officer for South Lanarkshire Council, Education Development Worker for the Scots Music Group & Edinburgh Youth Gaitherin, music tutor for Feis Dunedin, East Lothian Council, Celtic Connections, Feis Rois, East End Arts Company and numerous festivals. In 2006, Jennifer joined the then Scottish Arts Council's (now Creative Scotland) Youth Music Initiative, where she remain working across a number of funding programmes such as CashBack for Creativity, YMI and Traditional Arts until March 2013 when she decided to launch Glow Arts as a full-time company again.
